I don't know about you, but I have been lusting over NARS Orgasm for forever, I have a dupe for it with the Sleek Blush "Rose Gold", which after further looking at orgasm, I would say it is a pretty good dupe. BUT sometimes you just are not happy until I have the real thing! When I got the email about this Sephora Special Edition Cheek Palette I had to have it. Even with it's hefty price tag at $49 it is still worth it because a regular full size blush is still $28.
As always NARS never let's me down with their packaging. It is sleek and sexy, if a blush packaging can be? :) I guess with the names that description is pretty fitting.
The colors are (clockwise starting at top left): peachy matte blush, gold highlighter blush, Orgasm (peachy pink with golden shimmer), and a pink matte blush. This is so ideal for traveling, you have a great highlight and three great blush choices, and a very nice mirror, all in one.
I think my favorite is orgasm and that gorgeous highlight. I do like the two matte blushes though, they are very hard to come by. And these are two very staple colors.
Overall I am pleased with this purchase. At first the $49 price tag hurt me a bit, but after I really thought about it, I really do cherish my blushes most out of any other makeup items, so one really high end blush is justifiable. If you are just starting out with your collection or if you are a guru, this is a blush palette that I would definitely recommend. It will be available at Sephora August 1st, I bought mine online at Sephora.com.
