This palette and a bunch of other pretties where release last week under the Carine Roitfeld for MAC collection, after being show this, I knew I had to get it. Nick being the kind young gent he is bought it for me, boys boys boys.
 (Same as above with Flash)
I love how compact this palette is, it also has a very sleek package design.
Here you can see a better look at what the packaging looks like.
It has a very unique clasp, a little hard to open, but that is good for protection.
Swatch of the Sand Storm Cremeblend Blush. I am really going to need to work with this. I'm not sure if it will look good as a blush on me, it might be a nice contour, but I'm not sure if it will be too orange on me...
Swatches of the four shadows(Sahara Dust, Cactus Thorn, Desert and Carbon), I am slightly disappointed with the pigmentation of Carbon and Thorn, more so Carbon. But I might be bias of black shadows because of Urban and Loracs amazing blacks.
Overall I am not sold on this palette. I think it is going to take a bit to get used to, but I will be using it. I would say if you like these shadows and you can get use out of the blush this palette is really worth $44, even if you only use it for travel.
What do you think? Yay or nay?
(Full review after some use.)

  1. I really like the packaging of this one - too bad it's not that great on the actual product front. I had higher hopes for this, but thanks for the honest review! :)
