Urban Decay & Oz: Glinda Palette
Urban Decay & Oz: Glinda Palette
I have been so excited to show you guys this gorgeous palette! Urban Decay recently released two palettes that set a theme based on the upcoming OZ movie! The second palette I have to show you is the Glinda Palette, if you haven't seen then Theodora Palette click here. This palette consists of an array of pretty pinks, purples, and a few more neutral shades and a surprising appearance of some beautiful micro glitter and duo chrome colors. I know some of you are quite afraid of the fallout that occurs with micro glitter, and unlike Theodora the fall out on the OZ shade is quite heavy, but I am a glitter lover so I can take a few flakes!!
This was my first choice between the two palettes, it has a lot more colors that are really unique. My favorites have to be "Aura" which has the duo chrome shimmer, and the "OZ" even though the fall out is quite heavy. The kit also includes a look card(which I will end up loosing), a urban decay eye liner(great for the water line, and that is really all I like to use it for), and a Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color(which I really enjoyed the pigmentation and texture when I used it in my tutorial).
Overall do I think it is worth the $49.00 price tag? I think if you love glitter, interesting yet girly chases, Urban Decays known velvety super pigmented shadows, and you are a fan of OZ: YES. The only thing I would worry about with this palette is the heavy amount of fallout in OZ, I can make an exception for this though because of how much I love the pigmentation and shades.
*NOTE* I didn't mention in the Glinda post, but this packaging is very beautiful. Though I am not 100% sold on the fact the colors pop out... I would much rather they be secured in. I did find out, because one fell out, that you can easily depot these shadows without a problem, I will be leaving them in though.

And of coarse, I use a Canon T3i, but I give all the credit to my Tamron Lens (SP A016 17-50mm)! And the lightboxes help too!
