Lip Of The Day I

    When fall starts to roll around many people get excited for the brisk weather, the fall fashion, and obviously the pumpkin candles at Bath and Body Works. Don't get me wrong, those all give me the autumn butterflies, but one thing reins above all: Statement lips. Don't get me wrong, I still go for bold reds/oranges/pinks all year round but there is something about fall that makes me more apt to rock something with a bang.

    This day in particular, well today, it is a red lip! To achieve this look I first lined my lips with my trusty NYX lip liner in "red". Not only did I line my lips but I filled them in just to give the color a longevity boost. Then I used MAC's Ronnie Red to build up the color a little bit more, and to give it that perfect matte red color. Then on top to gloss it up a little bit (Cold Weather = Chapped Lips), I used the Rimmel Apocalips in Big Bang!
    These products I feel work really well together, and as a whole lasted about 8 hours on my lips through drinking and eating. I am extremely pleased! The "selfie" style picture was taken right after application, the top "close ups" where taken about three hours later after drinking out of a water bottle! P.s. thanks to Jessica, TheModMermaid, for swapping unloved beauty products with me! Otherwise I may have never gotten to try out the Rimmel Apocalips!
