October 2013 Birchbox Unboxing ‣ Beauty Buzz

It's that time of the month again, my Birchbox unboxing! If you are not familiar with the wonders that are Birchbox I will fill you in! Birchbox is a monthly subscription service ($10/month) where you are sent a box filled with wonders like beauty, body, skin, hair, body and lifestyle items! ‣ Benefit Cosmetics Fake Up (http://goo.gl/eagNjA): Full Size $24 | Brighten tired-looking eyes with this hydrating undereye concealer and moisturizer combo. Loving the packaging on this, it seems a little excessive though once you see how much product is inside of it. Otherwise I have been really looking to try out this product! From swatching it I can already see the moisturizing characteristics and it seems like a nice medium coverage concealer!

‣ Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser (http://goo.gl/hTY0ym): Full Size $21.50 | UK favorite that uses a two step ritual to purify and exfoliate. A Birchbox exclusive! I thought this was the most beautifully packaged item I have ever received in my Birchbox. It came in an adorable Tiffany blue box and it even came with a little instruction packet. I am really excited to try this, mostly because I have never used anything like it before!

‣ Liz Earle Pure Muslin Cloth (http://goo.gl/VBfLHQ) 2 Cloths, $6 | Ditch your harsh exfoliator and use this pure muslin cloth , which gently polishes skin. At first I didn't realize that this was counted as a sample in it's own, but I am okay with it because it seems like a really nice quality piece. I am excited to put it to use with the Cleanse & Polish!

‣ POP Beauty Aqua Lacquer (http://goo.gl/X9pACp) Full Size $14 | A British makeup pro created this sheer gloss, which plumps and hydrates with jojoba oil. I am not huge on lip glosses, and this didn't really sway me much from that. It has a strange plastic doe foot-ish applicator, and is a little bit sticky. The color is pretty sheer. I am sure I will get use out of it.
‣ ChapStick® Hydration Lock (http://goo.gl/OW3ElQ) This was a "Birchbox Find Alert" which means that it is a product that is just a little extra that Birchbox decided to throw in. It's perfect because we are approaching chapped lips season!
