NYX Matte Lipstick in Perfect Red || Review

   I'm back with another review! Today I am here to give you my thoughts on the NYX Matte Lipstick in Perfect Red. I purchased this lipstick on a complete whim while I was at IMATS. I'm not sure what it is about IMATS, but I always end up picking up items I normal don't take notice to, and this time I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome.

  For me NYX is always an affordable makeup option that is always of great quality and has a great selection of products to choose from. This lipstick is no exception, for me it ranks up with MAC in quality.

   When you first see the product the packaging gives off this super sleek look. I don't know what it is about black tubes with white writing, but I am all about it. Once I got to the product itself I was amazed. It glided on my lips with ease with a full opaque matte color in just one swipe. I do have to say I don't think this lipstick is 110% matte, it has a slight cream finish to it, but that is the kind of matte finish I prefer.

   The only downside to this product that I can seem to find is that if you don't wear a lipliner the lipstick tends to slightly feather: which isn't uncommon with red lipsticks. But for six dollars I don't mind one bit. You can bet your bottom dollar that I am anxious to pick up more shades!
